I just recently got a 2001 GT convertable, it came lowered on UPR coilovers with some sort of adjustable struts in the front, not sure what brand they are. It also has the same type of adjustable shock in the rear, UPR caster camber plates up front, and a tubular K member. The front drivers side strut appears to have gone bad as it looks like its leaking fluid and makes a bad clunk noise when i go over any sort of bump. Its also very harsh and bouncy like on that side of the car. I want to replace the front struts, but my question is do i have to get the same sort of adjustable style struts that it has now or can I just get a nice set of normal style struts or will it not be compatible with the coilovers?
