Ouch, that sucks. I can't believe what happened to your tailpipe. Did the headlight crack just then and fog up, or had that been doing that before the accident?

Sorry to hear man. Hope everything turns out fine.

Looks like your tires were a little worn though.

the headlights do that - err actually no mr Claims adjuster they never have before.

Yeah the cop thought the tires were a little low on tread but they are all above the wear bars still.

No ticket, no injuries...just a loud smack on the car.

I'm hoping Geico totals it...rod bearings were in need of replacement along w/ everything that entails.

No way thats a total, pretty minor dammage. Take the money and get new exhaust and Cobra bumper and have enough left for the rebuild.

the bottom took the brunt of the hit...that's where the problems are...

the rear axle is alllll messed up
rear bumper is shattered where the exhaust ripped through it
tore the side thing under the passenger door off completely
front pass fender is dented pretty good right behind the wheel
front bumper is messed up a little too
exhaust was basically jamed off through the driver side

When I tried to open the trunk it was REALLY hard to open

so It may just look dirty but there was some SOLID impact that the bottom of the car took (I have a feeling the drive shaft was blugeoned too)

I wouldn't be surprised if they totalled it.

Yeah sorry, didnt realize about the other dammage, internet connection sucks so I only saw the first four pics. If the frame is tweaked (causing the trunk problem) then yeah shes a gonner Hate to see another nice GT go to the motor gods. Well the trend has been to get a Termi or Blown GT........so which one you gonna get?

Thats true, insurance companies do weird things. My aunt drove her 96 Blazer LT in a ditch filled with salt water in 98. NO BODY DAMMAGE but they totaled it. She bought a 96 Grand Cherokee Limited and two weeks latter slamed it into a bridge support, $17,600 in dammages and they didnt total it. Book was $22000 at the time but it was sooo messed up when I saw it I couldnt believe she was alive much less repair the truck. Never know with these guys

did you aqua plane and panic or something? I don't see your car getting the fugged up doing 50. I spun out at 110 and did leave the highway and only got a scrach on the rear bumper. I am sorry to hear about the wreck though and am glad that everyone is ok.

yea I dunno if it's like this everywhere but in Florida especially on the interstate RIGHT when it starts raining the roads are like ice...I dunno if it was hydroplaning like on the surface of a puddle or whatever.

They are some knock off tires called Sceptor I think.
