Not your average H Pipe question

when i install my H-pipe, where the crossover is, am i suppose to clamp that together ot just slide it together and bolt it up?

also do you think that some high temp black grill paint might slow down rusting?

Clamp it. If it's a stainless steel H-pipe it will not rust.

Or take it somewhere and have them weld it if you really want it to stick.

I just used the clamps on mine, where MAC put them. I got a three piece one, however, where the crossover was one piece and two legs were detached.

If you are talking about the "-" connection in the H--weld it, don't clamp it.
