Sylvania, Oh
I'm at a loss for words as to why my car wont start. To start the story I blew a head gasket about four months ago and havent attempted to start it until now. The head gasket was replaced the other day, cylinder walls looked good and blah blah blah. At anyrate Its assembled now, but wont start
-I have wet plugs, cranked the motor over by the solenoid with plugs out to "degas" the cylinders
-New plugs installed
-Blue spark that is firing on TDC,confirmed by timing light(as i cant time it if its not running
-Cam timing is spot on (ranger roller 4 degrees retarted ,ran fine this way before)

However i have NOT checked codes(friend has scanner)The gas is aobut 4-5 months old.
But i ahve corectly timed fuel and air and compared to the sounds of no spark plugs int he hoels cranking seems to have ok compression.
Shouldn't this damn thing ATLEAST sputter? I can't even get pops sputters or anything.

Also I did add 5 gallons of FRESH 93 to the 1/4 -1/2 tank thats there. DRained five gallons after adding the fresh gas via the return fuel line and energizing the pump via relay jumper wire and added drygas.

-HELP ME!!!

Mess with the timing as you crank it over. I know I set my dist. at factory spec and it wouldn't start. (engine was a 2.3) Played with the timing while it was cranking over and sure enough it fired up. Error on my part. Same thing happened with the 460.

Also the gas each time had been sitting for well over 6 months and I had no problem with water in the lines.
