I picked up my roller... 80 ghia coupe (originally inline 6) for 325 with a good title (not a salvage)

it was pretty empty... no motor no trans... but it rolled.

2v's make plenty power with ported heads and cams, and a large air forcing device, id go turbo before i went with a blower though.. although here in a couple months im going with a teksid b head n/a swap lol

The Lincoln Aviator. It's an SUV, they came with 4 Valve 4.6 engines in them. You could call around your local junk yards and see if they have any.

I've seen complete 20k-30k mile longblocks with most accessories go for ~$1,000 on SVT performance.

so whats the real difference in aviatoe 4v and a cobra 4v? anything?

avator is a mach 1 motor

03/04 cobras are iron block aluminum headed factory built motors

mach 1's are higher compression all aluminum and not as strong

A few little things are different between the aviator and cobra engines.

The head design and intakes are probably different. But the basic design is all the same. I think the aviator engines are rated at 305hp.

i know 100% the heads are and pretty sure on the cams.

Whats the diffrence in the aviator and the 5.4 tritons in the expi's?Wouldnt it be better to put a 5.4 in? Or are they to heavy or not as much power as the ones said above? peace

5.4 exploders are 3V's i believe
