Time to dress the interior up a bit... LOL

Went with the synthetic carbon fiber kit...

Ok... on the last picture... the seam is really not as noticeable as it appears in the picture... (the seam if for the air bag of course...)

That's actually a pretty good looking kit. Just one thing, though. I don't think the yellow welt under the dash cap looks right with it.

amazing but i think that they need to come up with a kit for the glove box etc... that is still factory to go a little better with the carbon fiber. Looks good now, but i wish they could do something better

I'll be brutally honest here...l don't like it. I just don't like the idea of a dash kit that is supposed to make it look lightweight. Plus I think the print just looks too fake. I wouldn't put it on my car, but if you like it, that's all that matters. To each his own.

I DO like that gauge pod though.... Looks much better than some of the others that I've seen out there. Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking?

EDIT: Just looked at your web page... nice car! Just curious, it looks like you're running straggered sized wheels. do you have "bigs and littles"? Since I bought the car, I've wanted 18 or 19's in the rear with 17's up front, for the old school rake that these cars deserve. It looks like you've got exactly what I want! 1st, how is it working out for you? Secondly, what did you do about the tire pressure monitor system? Just turn it off? I'm curious, as I'd LOVE to do that soon.

Looks good! do you have a on overall picture of it. I like the yellow seam under the dash.
What is the phone cable for out of the pod? Just curious

kit looks good....now change everything inside your car yellow back to its natural color. i know your car is yellow, but keep it away from the interior! just my opinion.

Thanks all!

Well... it not "welt" stuff.. it's EL cable left over from my ricer days! LOL! Ok... I was never a "ricer"... I simply didn't know any better..... When I did this I had no idea what was what... i had never seen Fast & Furious... I just like the pretty yellow light! LOL!

I get a lot of compliments on the EL cable so I just left it...

I understand what you are saying about the "lightweight" look... Basically I was looking to do something with the dash.. The different metal dashkits like the brushed aluminum or even the Ford IUP just wouldn't have worked with my Yellow and Black design... This one really seem to work with the color scheme the best...

I got the pod from MRT ( http://mrt-direct.com/concept/appearance/2005+/interior.php )

Right now I'm running 18's all around... but yes, at one point I was running staggered... I had the stock 16 inch tires up front (215/65/16) and 17's on back (275/45/17). Worked just fine! I don't have the tire pressure stuff (2005)..

I've the H&R sport springs with lowered the car just under an inch..

Where did you get the dash kit? And can you buy only the door and light pieces? I have the charcoal IUP and wonder how well it would match.

I got it from MRT... www.mrt-direct.com

Not sure about buying only the door and light pieces... they might be able to answer that...

I won't lie.. I did in fact have LED's under the car... At the time I was completely new to modding and knew nothing about cars... i just thought the blinking lights were cool.. LOL!

Over time though the tubes managed to get mangled for some reason or other... they are in fact long gone... LOL

Actually, I got bashed pretty heavily on this very forum when some one looking at my old website found this:
