I just got two NPR intercoolers!!! A small and a large. And as the title says, they were Free.99!!!! How cool is that!?!?!?!

So here's the story... My uncle owns a truck/tractor/auto/anything repair shop. He bought some old mail trucks (van style) to rip the boxes off for storage. I was down at the shop and decided to check out these trucks. To my amazement, they were intercooled turbos. To finish the story, I talked to my uncle about taking them and he gave me the go ahead. So now I have a nice big intercooler for my turbo swap.

I'm going to be selling the T-bird intercoolers I already purchased, along with the small NPR intercooler. I would be open to bids from those of you here on stangnet.com along with turboford.org. In a week or two they're going on E-Bay. You can private message me with an offer. All of the intercoolers are in great shape.

Peace out
-Aaron

.

Regardless of 100% profit, they're going for $100 on E-Bay. I'd prefer that it goes to a Ford, but the rice boys might like this. Sorry. I'll let you know if I decide to let it go for less.

lol, he gloats and then gets money hungry.

why even post the story and the "pm me your offers" if you're just going to quote ebay's going rate?

just put them up there and shut up.

Hey I just got a 50 trim Hybrid for $10. I see you are doing a swap, want to buy it?
I am starting it at $500.
I am all for making a buck, but the key is you never tell everyone what you paid for it. Geez.

Everybody can get pissy if you want, but if I think I can make a decent bit of money I'm going to try. Anything I get I'll probably sink back into my car. At this point, I can't afford to spend much out of my regular budget due to school.

So for those of you who want to knock trying to make a buck, then feel free. For those of you who are willing to pay $100 flat, let me know. The first offer of $100 takes it, no additional shipping charge.

I'll take it for $100 shipped. Let me know via PM what your Paypal info is (or address if you don't have paypal).

Oh, and nobody was complaining about you wanting to make a buck...we'd all do the same thing. They were just saying that you shouldn't mention what you paid for them if you are trying to sell them for a huge profit in the same sentence.

$100 bux was for the small one...and it's sold.

It's also not getting taken advantage of for that price...no matter what he paid. You guys crack me up.

Hey I just bought an SVO for 50 bux...all it needs is a headgasket and some seats...I'll sell it for $500 bux.

I just bought a 94 ranger xlt 4cyl 2wd....nice truck no rust which is a surprise being that it is from w.va. well i got a great deal had old trans replaced with newer one with 60k on it new clutch/slave cyl....motor doesnt smoke or carry on. runs great i only paid 500 for it....and i said if i could get 1200 -1500 for it i would sell it well since everyone knew how much i paid for it. the guy that wanted it to haul his rice rockets was mad cause i wouldnt sell it for 500.....it is worth atleast 1200 if you can make a buck tear it up......i love buying and selling cars or other junk if i know i can make a profit off it.

.

I look at it this way... If you go to buy a used car at a dealership, you know they are asking probably bare minimum of $1000 over what they paid for it. Would you ask them to sell it for no profit??? It's all a game of finding deals and trying to get the largest return you can. Fair market value is fair market value, regardless of what the sellers initial cost was.

BTW, that truck is definately worth $1200-1500 if it's in as good a shape as you described. I just sold my 92 w/ basically the same driveline and some rust for $1000. Best of luck to ya'

Heck I TRADED my 99 XLT ranger in and I got a grand more for it as a trade than I paid for it a year ago
Plus I got my Explorer for about 2k under book, so I would say I made out well.
Ahh the joys of having friends that own car lots

But Primarily the issue I had was that you do not brag about how much you paid for something and then try to sell it. Bad business move.
