O/R H-pipe for 99+ GT work on 96-98 GT?

If not, why? Headers are the same length to the collector right, or no one would be able to do PI head-swap without changing exhaust... On the 94-95 5.0's you can use the 4.6 H-Pipe but you have to plug something on the h-pipe, I don't remember what its called... So the only thing I could think of is maybe how its routed around the tranny, under the car? I would think 96 to present GT's would all take the same H-Pipe but they are advertised separately (96-98 GT & 99+ GT)

If it will fit does it take any modifications? This sounds like alot trouble, but I found a guy practicly giving one away and he doesn't know what year 4.6L its for yet, so I was just wondering if its possible to still use it if it turns out to be for a 99+ GT.

NO clearance issues?

It will clear everything fine under the car? It should bolt right into place with no problems?

I do know they are different part numbers, and the 99+ pipe does not have any hangers on it whereas the pre 99 ones do. Might have problems with that ?
