o ring'd head question

Steel rings or a set of gaskets with the wire already in them.

I think you can run MLS gaskets with those just like they were not o-ringed at all. Double check this last suggestion with some other folks though. It's something that I've "heard" of being done but not seen.

Thanks dagger. . . i was just making sure i wasnt buying a set of heads that i would had to have had the block machined in order to work with them:nonono:
 
Depends on what the heads were machined for, either the wire or for the o-ringed gaskets. Just had a set of heads machned for o-ringed gaskets(fel pro 1006). Machine work is different between using o-ringed gaskets or using the ring in the head or block with copper gaskets.
