Well since i have long tubes im gonna have to cut up my O2's and stretch them. Should i just buy new ones or keep this?? I have never changed them and i have put about 10ooo miles on it, the car has 150 so i dont know when was the last time

Thanks. But should i get new ones? How many O2 sensors do we have? I asked the guy at checkers how much they were and he asked if there were after or before the cats???

If you look at hego1 and hego2 in your dlogs, you should see them switching rapidly back and forth during closed loop driving conditions.

With that many miles on them ... they may be kinda at the end of their life cycle but ... who knows

then which one do i need to get the ones before the cats right?
If you get the post-cat sensors, please take install pictures. :D I have visions of Guero shooting some holes in the exhaust to ease the install.

Just for info: The front sensors are for stoichiometry calcs (for the puter). The secondary O2's (On OBD-II cars. NOT yours) are only to measure the efficiency of the catalyzation process (make sure the cats are working). That's why the newer cars have four O2's and we have two.

As Grady and others implied, you'd want the 'front-most' sensors.
