ok so when i did my swap i used the stock 2.3N/A O2 sensor, would this effect anthing??should i buy a turbo o2 snesor and put it in?? seems like my motor should be running better than it is now. im only running like in the 16's, cuz i raced a VR6 and lost by his ront fender 15psi. i seems as tho i should be doing better than that.what else, and i dont have an A/F guage to monitor things, but i thing that my next investment

the N/A senosr is different thant the 2.3T sensor, you have the LA3 so I would get a 02 sensor for the 88TC.

"The Mustang Oxygen Sensor will not work with the TC computer, it will cause it to run lean. You will need to get an O2 sensor that corresponds with the year or TC the computer came from. If you can't get one right away, simply unplug the O2 and run it that way...it will cause the check engine light to come on occasionally. One of the alignment tabs will need to be removed to get it to plug in...the wires are ok...no need to change any of them."

--- off Stingers site...

thats what I went by.. I used the O2 sensor from the turbocoupe and just shaved the tab of the harness so it fit right on.. works great.
