With the digital odometer dash.. Is the odometer memory in the computer or in the dash? I want to change gauge clusters but, need to know if I need to find a unit close to my odometer or do I need the computer with the dash.

For the +99 models, there is a little printed circuit board on the gauge cluster that must be swapped from the old cluster to the new one. There was an article in MM&FF about installing the Autometer gauge cluster and the circuit board must be swapped. It looks pretty easy: two small screws.
