just so you know...check out rockauto.com...they will have any oe part for less than anybody in town..went to my local dealer for new sensors, and the lady that runs the parts dept. told me she wouldnt sewll to me because of the prices for the same parts i had. one sensor was a good $30-40 less and shipping is very reasonable. check it out and let me know what you think.

i just go to the local autozone, carquest or napa to get my parts. i needed a camshaft position sensor for a chyrsler, the dealership wanted $60 for it, napa wanted $50, got it at autozone for $34. rockauto wants $40 plus shipping :/

if the autozone out here doesn't have a part they'll either order it for you or check with napa or carquest so you can get what you need without waiting.

ya, you keep going to local chain stores, and while your there see if they can hook you up with a AAA plan for towing. Because you are going to need it. Chain stores are goood for oil and detailing products thats it.
(sorry for the sarcasm, just getting my point across)

Most of the parts stores are crap parts. However if you know what you are getting a lot of companies that make parts for the auto manufacturers (oem)sell the exact same thing to Napa under their own name or Napa's name because 90% of the auto manufacturers parts are made by suppliers. I know this for a fact because 95% of what we make at our plant (we have over 60,000 employees worldwide) goes to the Ford assembly plants, 3% goes to Ford service and 2% goes to Napa. It says Napa on the boxes but has our name on the bottom.

Some are, some aren't, but considering they are reboxed, it's not so easy to determine.
I know most bosch and borgwarner parts are decent, but still i feel much better getting them in a ford box.
