Just a quick question. I’ve been searching the web for the better part of the last hour for new original control arms and can’t find any without ball joints. For my sn95 swap, I will have to use sn95 ball joints (i don’t like the spacer option). I was hoping to find new arms I could just press the sn95 joints into. And in theory, empty control arms would be a little cheaper.
Does anybody know if they are available anywhere without ball joints already in them?

Thanks! Yeah, it’s an 86 Fox that I’m collecting parts for an sn95 5 lug swap. I was hoping to find them empty to save a few bucks. Not a huge deal if I can’t.

With some many aftermarket arms out there. I thought the used market would be flooded with stock arms.

Are you looking for SN95 Control arms or just using SN95 Ball Joints on your stock Fox control arms?

I ask because I'm buying new OEM SN95 Control Arms for my 94GT and I'll probably sell my stock ones. The ball joints are out of them.

I’m going to go with the SN95 ball joints in the Fox arms.

When I did my 5 lug swap I just rebuilt my stock arms. New sn ball joints (moog) and new polyurethane bushings w/o the steel case and just knocked them in.

This is probably the route I’ll go. I was just worried about the ball joints fitting in the old arms properly.

How did that spacer work out? It just seemed “not right” to me. But I’ve seen pics of your car and work, and I’m pretty sure if it wasn’t right you wouldn’t do it.
I almost bought the spacers a while ago, but then I held off.
