Off-road midpipe question

Part of the performance gain is not having cats. More of an unrestricted flow among having larger tubing.

If you're concerned about emissions, stay away from off road pipes and just get a catted x pipe. I heard some good things about the Magnaflow catted x.

This is probably a dumb question, but here goes... if I get an o/r midpipe, is there a way to modify it so I can use the stock catalytic converters?? Reason being, I'd really like a MAC Pro Chamber, but they're all off-road.

if you are REALLY worried about emissions, don't get long tube headers, but in your situation. go ahead and get an O/r and keep your stock mid pipe, when you have to take it in for emissions, just swap it out :nice:

Or...and this is something I'm contemplating...is the PC with the new Bassani bolt on cats. That way you can bolt the cats in for testing and then go remove them afterward. But this is illegal so I'm not sure if I will do it.
