I dumped my cats in favour of the prochamber from Mac. I put mac mufflers on at the same time and got rid of my flowmasters. Huge difference in power and the sound was awesome. Best and most noticable difference for the money yet.

I did my off road x at the same time I did a lot of other stuff, so I couldn't tell you about the power gains, but the sound alone makes it completely worth it! On a side note my car stinks now that I don't have any cats, nothing I can't live with.

I noticed a difference when i put my 2 chamber flows and mac o/r hpipe on. i love the sound of it too. And i also have the problem with the smell. Sometimes i get people that say "Man your car smells..." I respond with a grin "I know "

Well I'm only 21 so I couldn't tell you about the Old muscle car smell, its almost like gas, but not quite. I really can't describe it any better than that, sorry. I only notice it when I have the top down.

its not an awful smell in my case....and not noticable when driving(if it is chances are there is a leak somewhere under the car) but you can tell you have nothing cleaning your exhaust gases when you pull into a garage nothing thats gonna make people hold their nose when you drive by or when riding with you trust me....nobody will even mention it to you more than likley....

the smell isnt too bad at all, def. go with an offroad rather than with cats... i got a mac prochamber and it sounds awesome, you only get that smell when you are stopped though and it isn't too bad at all... def. worth it ;-)

the smell shouldnt be the thing keeping you from getting the h pipe. Like everyone else said, the smell is more of a faint faint gas type smell. You wont even notice it unless your standing behind your car for awhile. But i would definatly recomend getting the pipe.

Am I the only one here that loves the smell? Nothing reminds me of a muscle car more than that O/R pipe smell.

I didn't really notice much gain, but hey my cars pretty stock.

The only problem that I have is that I am like 90% sure there's a leak, because it makes a lot of noise that shouldn't be there. I've tried to fix it a few times but I think it's leakin' at the header/h-pipe connection .

When it isn't 15 degrees out I'll have to try and fix it.

Can I use gaskets???

I use some Gasket Wrap around the connection between the two pipes, and some custom cut thick gasket material from Schuck's for the hook ups... most people say I am being over cautious about leaks... but that is where you loose power, and get little things that annoy you like vibration and other noises
