Off Road X pipe Question

My buddy is looking to get a off road pipe (X or H), and he was wondering if there was a problem with "Check engine light" coming on. Also if the pipes come oxygen sensor ready? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

yep, if you add an o/r x/hpipe the SES light will turn on. All you need is a set of MILs to turn it off though.

You could also have the rear o2 sensors turned off through a hand held tuner so it wouldn't trip the SES light

You can also make your own MILs with some parts from radio shack. Costs like 10 bucks instead of 60+.

Just search for "homemade mils"

The home made mil eliminators work,just ziptie the harness out of the way of the pipes,I know i made my own with the radio shack parts and it works.
