Official 2011/2012 College Football thread

Man there has been some upsetting games in these bowls. How the heck do the Gators beat the buck eyes, or even more the Bulldogs losing to the spartans....Well that confirmed my $$ on the bowl games were donated to someone else

So, wait, you get onto me about not being all for the SEC, yet you bet against the Gators!? Shame on you! :nonono:

Oh, and how they did it was having a healthy team, and actually passing the ball a bit. Sure seemed to help us. Our defense was pretty good this year, just had a terrible offense to go with it...

when there's dollars on the line the only team I'm true to is the team i believe is going to win with the exception of bama and Michigan

What makes it worst not only am I a roll tide fan, I pull for the wolverines which there rivals are Ohio State so that should tell you how much i dislike the gators.....

Don't worry. The feeling is mutual. I never had a problem with Bama until I moved to Birmingham. Now, I hope hope hope they lose on Monday. I'd be as happy for that as I was that UF won.

I wouldn't get too high on your D, our O was that bad all year (save for the 1st 3 quarters against Nebraska and the 2nd half against Wisc) :ack: Our special teams didn't help the cause. Oh well, at least I have 2013 to look forward to thanks to the Tat 5

You obviously didn't watch the Buckeyes too closely. The talent was there, but the coaching wasn't.
No didn't watch them closely but I did the gators, and there ball was off this year (besides there running back Rainey). I figured Ohio would have the edge after having there players suspended for the first half of the season, but yeah i should of figured something since they couldn't stop MI like they normally do every year, but I tossed that aside because they actually have a straight team which they haven't in a while. Besides they awful performance that robinson had against VA Tech, me being a Wolverine fan also (yes I know ppl think you can't be a fan of more than one team but I'm from MI and the wifey is from Bama), MI should not of one that game, but it is what it is. MI made some sloppy plays that actually got them on the board. I never seen a careless QB just throw a straight hail mary like that when the game was still undetermined

Well, they ended up ranked 9th in total defense... That's where I get the idea that our defense plays pretty well. Our offense, though? Terrible!

Holy crap did LSU get owned. I still don't like the fact that both teams finished with one loss.... to each other... and Bama is the National Champion, but they won that game in such dominating fashion, there really is no question they earned it.

WTF was Miles doing during that game? Terrible game plan, not changing QBs, he just looked lost!

The game was boring as hell, too. I went to bed halfway through the 3rd quarter knowing Bama had already won it. Woke up and sure didn't feel like I missed anything.
