we try to save spots together but if not at least close by. Friday isn't so much an issue as its just come along and find a spot. saturday is the show so the sooner the better. we usually arrive in packs since we all stay in a couple hotels. This year is the first year for everyone staying in one place. So hopefully we'll just cruise all in together and just line them up.

Steve, I would say anything you can get at this point is your best bet. Regardless of how close it is, you can still come over to our place and hang out. we commandeer the back part of the building where the hose and dumpster is. works out nicely since there is a couple picnic tables back there too.

as far as the night activities, we usually hit up some food then hang out and drink a bit. no real plans as such.

Here's a sneak peak for those who haven't been watching on some of the other boards. I got a three day weekend to finish it (and yes, still waiting for some of the parts to get here, LOL) and I am going to pick up the narrowed rearend tonight. I'll probably pull a couple all nighters over the course of the three days. It was supposed to be done over a month or two ago. Nothing like cutting it to the wire.

It I run into any problems getting the pace car ready then I guess "ole reliably" (the cobra) will be making the annual trek to Carlisle instead.

Well got a bunch done today, if nothing goes wrong the road to carlisle is looking better and better.

This is about ride height.

Here she is a parked height. Believe it or not, the car will go lower, but this is the height she will be parked at.

I filled my rear end today and put in a new battery. I need to clean it but otherwise I am about ready.

My 3 day weekend keeps getting shortened by other people needing me to do stuff but I'm 99% there, should be taking the car on it's maiden voyage for the year today or tomorrow to make sure everything is good to go.

Tom that looks awesome, gonna be sweet to see you three-wheeling and bouncing into the show. Haha just kidding man, I am very much jealous of that air ride...

I can't wait now. I was getting excited but now i'm pumped. Sadly woke up this morning with a sore throat so i'm going to be medicating up like crazy this week. I'm 3 vitamin C, mucinex, tylenol sinus, mens daily vitamin, zertec, and a partridge in a pear already for the day. i'm going to try and sneak in some antiboitics if i can get some.

I think so Tom, the plugs I've been putting in the car weren't gapped correctly (needed to be 50, they were at 30, possibly the cause of running so rich and fouling so many plugs) cleaned the IAC which was really gunked up inside, possibly the main culprit in the idle issues. Gonna take it out this afternoon for a test drive, I think I have it all fixed up now.

I have to retune mine before Carlisle as I took it out yesterday and it is running lean as hell. I saw 15:1 a/f under WOT. The bad thing is that it has been a longntime since I tuned and it is like starting from scratch again.

Ouch. What happened that caused the tune to be so far off?

The good news is the weather is looking awesome for this weekend, mid 80's and sunny.

Tom,

Looks great. One concern, with that little motor it might stall when you let the clutch out with those big tires out back.
