i will have pics up later on of more progress. 5 speed swap is done, and halfway done with the 5 lug conversion. i stll need a new clutch the one igot is crap. and my shifter is crap so is the 4 banger t-5

out with the old...





in with the newish. its a sn95 rear. so im half way done with the 5 lug swap.

oh yea. im trying to get as much done as possible with what little funds i have. so far i have changed ALOT of stuff. the only thing origanol on the car is the body. well some of it anyways. i hope to have a TKO 600 and a really stout clutch kit for it in the next two months. i still have a few bugs i have to work out on the engine im still getting an egr code that is causing it to run rough but it will be fixed in time.

how hard was the T5 swap?.....id like to find a write up....id like to swap mine sometime middle of 08...(summer) when miracles the auto in it now dies

you nicknamed the auto "miracles"? the swap made a gigantic difference, the swap wasnt that hard, we just had the wrong pedal assambly lol

yea for some reason there had to be some cutting and welding on my pedal assembly. but a 5 speed swap isnt that hard at all. just make sure and get the input shaft pilot bearing. it only takes a few hours to do the swap. took a few hours to swap out the rear end too. that also helped big time. now i gots brakes.

damn son your moving right along. i like 4banger auto projects that turn into badass 5 oh 5 speeds. they come such a long way to improvement.

it was origanally a 5.0 auto. and for all the work and progress i have done i havent spent that much money. i got my 96 gt sold and i have been using part of that money to fund this.
