call them anyway, tell them he'd been harrassing you. If nothing else get it documented in case anything else happens. Hell he stole cash from you.

and wtf was your car unlocked?

door was not unlocked but windows down like 1/2 inch :(
thats breaking and entering, no? Go after this guy. At the very least call the police and report it, tell them everything. Maybe you cant prove it, but at least let them know about this douche.

Dont get mad and do the eye for an eye thing. The problem with that is it just keeps escalating, and neither party will stop until the other does. Hence, it keeps going until something real bad happens.

exactly, so go all out first time and cut his brake lines

OK, here's my take. The guy that followed you home is sketchy to begin with. So even if your car had not been broken into, you still theoretically could have called the cops on him for following you like a homo stalker that loses races.

Since you woke up this morning and realized that your car had been broken into (that doesn't have to mean 'literally broken' into ya know), you should definitely call them. Secondly, just because you had a weird encounter with this d-bag, that doesn't mean he did it. I have seen weird stuff happen in my days ... but he would definitely be suspect #1.

Times like this make you wish it were legal to beat the **** out of someone due to principle. It will be difficult to 'prove' you had 60 dollars in your car (gonna have to eat that one) but I'd call the cops out of principle, that's just how I am though.

*General good rule of thumb for automotive safety when parked:*

Roll your windows up. :nice:

I hear that too!!!

If you have tinted windows, that is a big part of why it gets stupid hot. I have had tinted windows on every car I've ever owned and the insides of all my rides got retarded hot. I've read that the heat/sun rays come in through the front windshield but since the windows are tinted, the heat can't escape. So using deductive reasoning based on the assumption that what I was reading is true, I got one of those things you put in the window (shiny silver reflective things). I though 'if the sun can't get in the front, it has to be less hot'. Sure enough, it took my car temp down like 10-20 degrees!!

If your windows aren't tinted then maybe someone else will read that and find it useful. :)
