oh,no! she's fallen apart!

a bad thing has happened to me today,I went on a trip today of about 57 miles round trip and when i checked all fluids everything was good, about as I leave on my way back I was on the highway doing 65 when all of a sudden I lost all oil pressure and started blowin oil smoke out the tail pipe,I'm hopin it to be a headgasket,but I wont know till I look at it tomorrow,what do yall suggest from yalls expeirence it could be?

No bueno my friend! Time to do a leak down test....pull out all the plugs, one cylinder at a time. If it is the head gasket , in my mind, its wierd it would blow all the way back to the oil passages, usuauly water is the first (closest) to go....but not impossible.

yea leakdown test will be tomorrow but it is always nice to have an idea,I am low on water,but I also thought it would blow the water passages b4 oil,but then again weird things happen to me....

ive change a few head gasket's, never an oil one...should be interesting , post pics it it turns out to be the gasket! if not, time for some rings....unless you have an ungoldy PCV problem

head gasket could have blown out on #4 in the area where the main oil feed to the head is. that could be a good reason for the huge amount of burning oil. unlikely but possible.

Thats definately possible

"all" of mine blew between #2 & #3.

thanx yall for your suggestions thats what is actually looking like now is that the head gasket blew,makes me feel alot better now,once again thanx

well the verdict...

Finally got around to pulling the plugs and they were all covered in oil,like literally almost dripping,,,,yup I do beleave I have toasted the rings,so now im thinking swap time, and with my train of thought for originality I'm thinking hopped up inline six or should I SVO it.......
