I have been reading lots of bad stuff about the C&L MAF and i was wondering if it will work with this combo. Oh no............. i just bought a prof products 70mm TB 70mmEGR and a 73mm C&L MAF 19lb and a typhoon intake .Edelbrock heads 190 intake and a e303 cam will also be add and put on at the same time, will this combo work ?? Meaning mostly the TB/EGR/MAF.
Hope i didn't make a big mistake

try it and see. some people have no problems with C&L! i have Pro-M and they complain about it all the time but it hasnt failed me at all.

the combo u have should work fine, just wait on the heads/cam. i hear odd things about pro-products typhoon intake. mainly install stuff. do a search on this forum for typhoon intake and see if there are any problems with it.
with that setup u are building, u could go with a 24lb injectors/maf instead but 19 should be fine.

The C&L should be ok. I had to get my electronics recalibrated by C&L (for free)for it to work right. And the typhoon intake MAY be ok. However the TB is bad news, this is from what I hear in the sn95 forums. Their 93 and below one might be better, but I dunno. Generally, i would not buy anything from professional products... I have seen an intake first hand for a 454 chevy (guy got it as a gift  ) and it looked like absolute crap and seemed very low quality. If you cant get you manifold to seal to the heads I wouldent be surprised....there absolute crap if you ask me. Honestly I dunno whats worse, APC or Prof. Products. I say spent the money on a real edelbrock part. I will honestly say I am pretty biased against those to companies but then again my rule of thumb is "If it looks like crap and feels like crap, it probably is crap."

Really........... i took the typhoon intake to my machine shop and checked it out on a CMM (computer measuring machine ) to see how parallel the side are to the top and it was out (on both sides) by .0003 . To me thats really good , should have no problems matching to the heads. As for the intake the inside look really smooth, i counted 4 small flaws that could be takin care of by a small dremil grinder(spellling). For a saving of $385.00 CDN i thought it was a great deal. I'm not bashing you opinion on these prodcts , but not all of use can afford the name brand products.
