Yeah so I took the dash out so I could replace the A/C evaporator core in my 94GT project. Anyway, everything went smooth, put everything back together and well, I just tried out all the electronics in the car. Let's see, my window switches and locks work backwards. The lights in the interior still work but other than that, gauges are non responsive, no clock, blinkers don't blink (they just stay solid), and best of all, after taking out this entire ****ing dash, I just tried to turn the blower motor on, which does come on at the various power settings, but whether it's on Floor, Vent, Mix, etc. no air comes from ANYWHERE, so the vacuum lines there must be ****ed up now too. I don't even know where to begin, I feel helpless after going through all that **** to take the dash out and put it back in.... oh yeah and right when i tried to plug the radio in, it blew the fuse on the radio

going to sleep before i set a torch to this car...
by the way, none of the fuses are blown under the dash, which would control most of these functions... as far as the heater assembly is concerned, i don't know wtf is going on, i don't have air coming out ANYWHERE, no vacuum sound when changing the controls, yet, i know i put the lines back together right as i took pictures of the way they were originally hooked up...

OH MY GOD... I was sitting here looking for the most technical problems in order to track this one down, and it hit my mind for a second... See I don't have a battery hooked up to the car, so I test the electronics by using jumper cables from another car that is running and putting them on the terminals in the stang. WELL, I was using my mother's car this time (I always used my sister's because it was next to my car in the driveway usually), and because it was dark, I couldn't distinguish between the positive and negative, but I was pretty sure I was on the positive, but her battery was different from most cars I guess. Anyway, so I wake up this morning and go "OH ****" and realized the cables were on the wrong terminals, it literally didn't even cross my mind until I thought about how the windows worked "backwards". So yeah, REVERSE POLARITY FTL!!!!
Aside from all this, I hooked it up the right way and everything works great!
NEVER OVERLOOK THE SIMPLE THINGS LOL!!!

I am laughing with you , of course.

I have done things ALOT worse than that. Sometimes we have brain farts. I have them quite often.

Glad you got it working!

good for you....Yea I thought it would have fried something also...but its good that it didn't.

BTW...First time I did an intake swap I had 8 bolts left over...I was freaking out How could I forget 8 bolts, etc. etc. Couldent figure it out so I didn;t start the car after the install. The next day I tripped over my strut tower brace going to my garage and sure enough thats what the 8 bolts were for.

Your not alone. I do that all the time. I will be working on something and put a tool down for a sec to get something to drink or to answer my phone or something. Then I go back and I am like.... ??? Where the hell is the damn 13 socket and ratchet?!?!?! AGH!!! Go threw the whole car and freak out! And swear someone was messing with me and trying to piss me off and then after I am super pist and sit or something. I sit on it or it falls on my foot.
