Please Help!! I'm mocking up a 302 block attached to a t56 in a 65 vert that i've installed a Heidts MII setup. Specifically, I'm needing a rear sump oil pan, and I don't think a fox body rear sump pan is gonna work.

anyone here done the Heidt's MII swap? and what oil pan did you use?

I ordered a bronco pan for my 351w. Its what was reccomended to use when I asked this question a month or two ago.

Apparently full size fords and trucks also had rear sump pans.

I stated i was using a 302 block for mockup, but the final engine will be a 351 based stroker. I thought that the 302 and 351 used the same oil pan, but my research proves otherwise. so i guess now i gotta find a 351 block to do my mock up with. I am determined to mock everything up and weld up the mounts before i paint this thing! so, what year model bronco did you use? and have you actually made up your mounts yet?

Coming soon, I'll start posting up the progress on this project.

you can look at what I've got started at www.projectpearlpony.com

Thanks

You can get a chrome, bronco, 302 rear sump oil pan on ebay for $30.

Thats probably what I am going to go with.

Seems like there are quite a few people doing an MII type conversion within the last month!
