Recently I’ve gone through a slew of oil pumps and oil pans trying figure out the best option for my DSS 306.
Yesterday (after reading previous threads on here about how to clearance the pickup) I think I’ve go it settled.
But as this is the first time I’ve dealt with this I wanted to showcase my “greenhorn” status and post up a picture of the measurement so I (hopefully) know I did it properly.
So the question is, how’s this for clearance? More? Less?
I did end up using a new LMR stock style oil pan, a Melling high pressure oil pump, and a seal power pickup. No more deep sump canton.
Everything is just mocked up now.
