Just FYI for people. If you still are using the clear plastic line for your oil presure guage, you really need to think about replacing it with copper. Just woke up my 68 Fastback from a long sleep and drove it to town. Wondered what all that smoke was trailing me along the interstate. Stopped at my local Car Quest for some other stuff and discovered that a pinhole leak was spraying oil onto my headers from the line. Lost 2 quarts. Don't know why it didn't ignite, but I must be living right. New copper line this morning and to more for my other Mustangs. Should have known better

Live and learn

I always encased the nylon tubing with vacuum hose to protect it. Another alternative is running steel brake tubing from the pressure port to the rear of the engine, then into steel braided line thru the firewall. I did this with my Comet to satisfy the tech at the local strip.
