Anybody ever install an oilpan gasket without lifting the motor? You see i may have done somthing very stupid...or just got really lucky. I pulled the rack,dropped the pan pulled the old gasket,cleaned surfaces,SPREAD 1-piece gasket around pan and righty- tighty,done!! Ran motor for awhile and no leaks yet.Sombody tell me somthing good...or you can tell to do it the right way because leaks are soon to come.
