Hey and since no one else has mentioned it, have fun doing all of that. A lot of us always say "if I had 10k to spend" and you get to do it. I for one am jealous. I don't get to even see my stang until October and then I have to wait till may to drive it... When i come back I also need 4 new tires and to fix my blown amps and I only make $500 a month here. Though thats like living like a king...

Yeah for real. Have fun with it. Install most of it yourself( if you can). I find it most rewarding to install your own parts, even if it's a pita.

now thats what I like to hear

now if it was my money and my car I would get a explorer aluminum block and have it sleeved for big bore forge the internals go with some nice heads like mph 2.5, cams to work with your blower.

Big bore is the way to go to increase cubes if you want more cubes and since you will have it apart to forge it you might as well go all out since you have the money and go big bore. personally I would sell the s trim I am not a big vortech fan, at the very least if you want to make 500 HP you might want to consider a bigger vortech.

personally I like the novi 2k's and the D-1 procharger better.

now anything left over after that you might want to put in your suspension. There are many ways you can go here, if your a drag racer you might want to consider a drag setup with slicks.

On regular tires and stock suspension you car will be a giant dual black crayon. all it will do is leave two black stripes all the way thru 4th. you don't want that.

No no no, you have it all wrong, you have to steal some underpants before you can expect a profit!

i had the same thing this last month.. i got back from work and had money to spend..

i'd get a demon bodykit, paint it green /w pink racing stripes, add pony decals on the side doors, aluminum wing and pulsing underglow to match ur mad beatz blasted on your 18" solox sub. just whatever you do, don't put those ****ing stickers on your car, don't be rice.

Like someone already said, go to: www.modularpowerhouse.com
Find the contact info, and tell Tim your situation. Or find another shop in your area that knows mustangs and take it there.

Put a T56 Tranny in that thing, get a forged bottom end, reinstall s-trim, go full length headers/xpipe/exhaust. Send it to Tim at MPH and let him perform his magic with a good tune and any needed additional bolt ons. Go and smoke your wife's Cobra!

Wow, 10k to blow on the stang. Personally....I couldn't see spending that much money on this platform for a true-street car...even if it was extra spending money. But all the suggestions so far are good ones. Build the block, build the suspension, build the brakes. Sell your stang, and buy a vette!

FRPP 460 CID 550hp and I think it cost right around $6,599.99. Match that up with a new auto meter cluster, and a new 6-speed tranny. Thats about 10 grand.

F**K gas mileage, bring on the heavy metal.
