Future plans call for a Cobra R hood, 01 Cobra rear bumper, and mabye removeing the rear wing what do you guys think?

What happened to the rear bumper?

99 Cobra rear bumpers were embossed with the word MUSTANG. It is the same rear bumper that was on every 99-04 GT Mustang. The 01 Cobra, the rear bumper was embossed with COBRA, but had the same lower styling as the GT bumpers. Then there is the 03-04 Cobra rear bumper, different styling embossed with COBRA.

Hmm, several things look out of the ordinary to me about the Cobra, to include the lack out exhaust cut-outs of the rear bumper and the placement of the SVT emblem - It seems WAY too high to be actual stock placement. ANy idea what happened there?

Aside from those things, looks great, love the color and of course the 32V!!!

Like the stance, and wheels too.

What happened to the rear bumper?

Your not the first person to ask that , the guy that had the car before me put a side exhaust kit on it and since the cobra bumper has exhaust cut outs he put a V-6 bumper on it so it would have a solid bumper without the cut outs for exhaust tips that would not be there. Makes logic I guess but there will be a new 01 Cobra bumper on there VERY soon along with a new 3 inch exhaust kit.

Yea 17's in the front and 18x10 deep dish in the rear. I already had the 17's from a previous buy so Im just running them on there for now until I save enough to buy a new set of 18's for the front.

Mabye SVT was trying to go for a sleeper look from the rear

I already explained about the bumper deal, however on the SVT emblem......I never noticed it until now, and it does look a little high.....I have no idea why

and get an 01+ rear bumper

Something screams rear-end accident to me about your Cobra. That emblem placement is really, really odd.
