If it were me, I'd ditch the vinyl power adders, and get an 01 or 03 rear bumper. Other than that, car looks very good!! I just had a quick question: what's with the taillights with the yellow blinkers, which cars did those come on??

Just the 99 and 01 Cobras had the tail lights with the yellow blinkers.

Your not the first person to ask that , the guy that had the car before me put a side exhaust kit on it and since the cobra bumper has exhaust cut outs he put a V-6 bumper on it so it would have a solid bumper without the cut outs for exhaust tips that would not be there. Makes logic I guess but there will be a new 01 Cobra bumper on there VERY soon along with a new 3 inch exhaust kit.

I hope you're not talking 3in piping, but 3in tips.

anyways, one worthwile mod would be to upgrade your headlights to the newer design found on 04/03s

Don't take the wing off just move the stock spoiler back 2 inches. It looks alot better. Nice car though i hope to buy a cobra one day myself! 32v is da bomb diggity

99 Cobra rear bumpers were embossed with the word MUSTANG. It is the same rear bumper that was on every 99-04 GT Mustang. The 01 Cobra, the rear bumper was embossed with COBRA, but had the same lower styling as the GT bumpers. Then there is the 03-04 Cobra rear bumper, different styling embossed with COBRA.

I knew that, but I was asking about the v6 style. You can clearly see the lack of cutouts. Should have kept the side exhaust, those are sexy!



99/01 Cobras had the yellow in the tail lights.

Yes, the rear SVT trunklid badge is placed too high (not factory location, it should be a few inches lower).

im calling rear end collision like somone eluded to. he used the opportunity for side exhaust, new bumper, incorrect placement of badge. i hope im wrong, but otherwise its a littttle fishy. it looks durn good though.

thanks for the feedback guys . After all the comments you have me wondering about a rear end tap because I never noticed the placement of that SVT badge before. I'll have to do some snooping around to try to get some answers on that. One final note, im supprised nobody made any negative comments about the bullitts , I've heard crap from at least a handfull of people here about putting them on a Cobra. But I like them........and thats all that matters. Thanks again :SNSign:
