I was looking to track down a set of the original metal louver in order to post a pic and came across this:

• Engineered of high strength aluminum and stainless steel • Satin Black finish • Rib cage design resists deformation and vibration • Adds privacy - reduces interior temperatures and damage • Installs easily - no need for special tools - no drilling required • Stainless steel hinges permit ease of rear window cleaning • Individually styled models for all popular cars from sun rays w/w=with rear wiper

These are not the originals but I thought they looked kinda kewl anyway. They are from metal construction.

No offense at all but If you would take that pony symbol off (above the 5.0 badge) you would have a DREAM CAR

I love louvres w/ bullet wheels

I had an LX that I bought a few years ago to resell that had metal louvers. I think the plastic ones look much better. Then again, great condition plastic vs. aged/worn metal...tough choice.

Yea - my plastic louvers still look great. They definately grew on me. I guess metal would look alright, but I'll keep my plastic ones.

I'm really starting to like the ones I found on the net posted on page one. It's all I can do to keep from ordering them.
