ok i have changed the tfi, coil, plug wires. the car just dies on me while going down the road. after a little down time it fires back up but while its down there is no spark from the coil to the distributor. help please.

This is going to sound stupid and i wouldn't believe it if it didn't happen to me, but I had a similiar problem in a Talon. I would be driving down the road and the car would just die on me for no reason. After a few seconds, it would crank right up and go again. I troubleshot that for almost a year. By chance, I changed my battery and never had the problem again. I don't now how or why the battery would make my car do that, but it did. Maybe a starting point--I don't know.

Next time, see if you have injector firing (use a noid light). If not, the PIP is likely bad.
