OK, we need CNC help YET AGAIN!!

The company that we thought was going to take care of our CNC work has just been dragging thier feet and giving us zero customer service.

So I pulled our parts, and I am now looking for another shop who wants this business.

If anyone here works at, or knows of a high quality CNC shop that is interested in actually working with us on this stuff, please PM me.

I am talking with three different shops right now, and I may be driving about 100 miles today to see what a shop in Kingman has to say.

Just sucks to be this close, and have three parts hold up the whole thing. I WILL get it done one way or another.

We will probably need a 5 axis CNC mill, but a lathe MIGHT work. I am not a machine shop operator, so I have been leaving it up to the judgement of the shop owner.

We have a full metal fabrication shop, with all the machines for cutting, stamping, punching, and braking plate and tube steel/aluminum, but the milling and lathing we aren't set up for, nor have I learned how to do.
 
My boss is looking at purchasing a 5-axis mill in a month or so to replace our outdated 3-axis, we'll be making brand new carbs soon.

However if you haven't found someone in a month let me know, maybe we can work something out.

Jeez, a 5 axis mill? You might have better luck just looking for a place with clever people who can figure out how to do it smarter. Maybe you really need a 5 axis, but that's a pretty unusual need IMO. 3 axes are plenty for 99.9% of parts. A fourth axis can do a lot too.

Maybe even just a little back-and-forth with a good machine shop that can suggest a design adjustment to improve manufacturability.

I know I'm really out on a limb here, because I haven't seen the part. I'm a design engineer by training, but I spent 5 years as a manufacturing engineer. So, I do have a little knowledge on the topic. :D

I realize you don't know me from Adam, but I could take a look at the part and see if I can come up with something. I don't have the resources to try to compete with you, just looking to help out. Better aftermarket suspension options are in my best interest, because classic Mustangs and driving fast curves are two of my loves in life. :)
