I have a stock 95 gt aode. I really want to put a 6-8lb blower on it. I'd also do HCI, but $ is preventing me from that. Do you guys think that with 52k miles and a tune I would be good with no problems? I really can't deal with a blown HG or something similair. Should I just keep saving...for HCI so I can really beat on it without having to worry?

h/c/i can be had for about as cheap as superchargers. Plus it's more reliable, and less maintenance free. What superchargers are you looking at that cost less than a h/c/i buildup?

Well for HCI I never really pieced together one, I just looked at the trickflow package. I would like to see 300rwhp ... could this be had with HCI for ~$2000?

Yes, if you buy used parts. The TFS package is good, but it doesn't come with injectors, maf, and fuel pump, all of which you really should do with that setup. But if you buy the parts used, then you can get everything for $2000. Can't get a blower for that (and a tune, since you do NOT want to do a blower without tuning it).

Oh yea, bimmertech, since when is a kennebell cheaper than a h/c/i? If they were, I would have jumped on that instead of my TFS stuff.

i never claimed it was, as i did not understand that was the basis of this conversation. i just ordered afr 165's, tf cam, lifters, pushrods, t-chain, t/b, pullies, afpr, gaskets, balancer, flywheel, clutch, cable kit, and all the supporting bolts etc.. ran me around 2700 shipped. i am reusing my exisisting cobra intake, rockers, valve covers, injectors. i already had maf, headers, x-pipe. hopefully this will give you a ball park. all this cuz of a leaking front crank seal. i think i have a problem.

It's all good. I assumed he was looking for cheap since he couldn't afford a h/c/i swap. In which case you won't find a kenne bell for cheap.

On a side note, that's a lot of good parts you got there. Stage 1 cam? You know you'll need to get that maf recalibrated or retune the pcm for the new injectors. What size did you get?

Oh, for some reason I was thinking you had bought bigger injectors. But you already had them. It's a good cam, like you said, it's nice that the exhaust has a little more lift to help out head flow.

Well Synned, I'm done hijacking your thread.
