Old pullies and gears

I recently got the steeda pullies installed and ford racing 4.10 gears.

I asked for the old parts back. I have no need for them. I am assuming for the pullies, no one would probably want but do you guys think there are people out there who would purchase my old 3.55 gears? I was thinking of putting them up on craigslist - how much should I ask?

You can't even get your question answered, much less sell the gears ha ha. I dout very much that there will be much of a market for 3:55 gears. However there maybe some, there maybe some guy's who have the 3:31's that would like to move up a little, but not much because of gas prices. I'ld ask a 100.00 bucks since you can buy new gears for around 150.00$.

I can't imagine anybody that is savy buying the gears. I have always heard that gears take a wear pattern and if you try to install used gears, they'll never be quiet. Just my $.02. If you can sell them, more power to you.

Couldn't hurt to try. There's nothjing wrong with using used gears, so long as they are a matched set. I doubt I'd ask more than 50-75 bucks though.

My 2 cents though is to keep them. You never know if you might want to go back to stock some day for some reason. When I sold my truck, I was really wishing I had kept the stock parts so I could sell my lift and stuff seperately, but I didn't have a few suspension parts or the gears/stock diffs. And half the stock suspension mounts were cut off the frame anyway..

I would look at the 3.55 gears or maybe 3.73's. I have 4.10's now and with a supercharger, they make 1st worthless and 2nd almost worthless.
