Ok heres a question. I have my Old c4 that has been rebuilt shift kit ect the problem I am having is that I can't seem to find enough vacume to have it shift on its own. I am running it full manual right now and its a bit of a pain when comming up to a stop having to downshift it myself just to slow down any ideas??

where do you have the vacuum line hooked up on the engine. it should be hooked to full manifold vacuum which means constant suction and no vacuum switches or rpm controlled switches. if it won't shift by itself after it is connected to manifold vacuum, then there is a problem that needs to be delt with.
