I'm trying to find out where exactly this is :http://www.sundayniagara.com/niagaranow.html I have a general idea, but I cant get an exact location from anyone. All I get is near the north part of the Niagara Falls airbase....Which lands it about 15 minutes from my house! If I can ever find it, and find out who actually owns it, maybe I'll be doing something to support the old stuff. I do know this-there are plenty of people that remember it, or that site wouldnt exist. Unfortunately, it seems many of them are no longer local (I think the site owner is actually in FL, not NY), so it's not had a great organization for the now & future-ony the memories of the past...

The map starts in England so arrow left until you cross the big pond. Find the area in New York that you want to view and then zoom in. You can switch from map to photos as you zoom down.

I found our local road course using this type of tool. Here is the former Augusta International Raceway 3 mile road course that is being developed into Diamond Lakes Regional Park. Pit lane is the straight section at the top. Cars would go counter - clockwise.
That's cool-I tried Terraserver, but for security reasons, they black out the base & it seems to extend a certain distance out from the actual base as well. Since it's right outside the base-it's in a black hole! I just got directions from someone who used to race there, so I might check it our this weekend. I hear it's barracaded so you can't get a car to it-which was a bummer, since I wanted to get the 00 up there for a quick pic (I like going to historic/old places and I've got a good collection started with pics of my car-Henry Ford's estate-Fair Lane, etc-pics are here: http://yellowblaze.gotstang.com) and I was hoping to add another one to my collection. There seems to be an interest in the place, so we'll see...

Nickel has been following ole Historic for a long time trying to side track my basic beliefs that the average Mustanger can have fun in these cars without spending a ton of money.
The Cobra Automotive cars are faster than my "Budget Performance" ride. The question becomes are you willing to pick up a few seconds a lap for perhaps $100,000?
Being a shift worker I can't afford it.
