ok so i just got my car back from the shop and yea its IN-SANE. for those of you who dont know .. there is no such thing as a borla catback for a 97 cobra .. you could use one for a gt but the piping is only 2 1/4 inch and i wanted 2 1/2. soo what i ended up doing wasssss ...
2 S type mufflers from jegs 2 1/2 inlet/outlet
2 1/2 flowmaster tailpipes
Magnaflow 3 1/2 tips (look awsome)
and then i had a muffler shop put it all together for me and custom make the peice between the x pipe (O/R upr btw) all together is cost about 825 after labor and all the parts but i am beyond satisfied! id do it again in a heart beat. ill post some sound clips soon i promise lol. prob the bext sound exhaust i have ever heard. and it only sounds better as the car revs higher.

It's still fairly quiet at idle and cruise though, is it not?

Stingers are SO loud... Mine used to bark at just a blip of the throttle. The tone was great though! But...magnaflows got the tone and lower volume so thats betta for me

$850 is ceramic LT territory. You should have just made borla side-pipes - if that's possible with the muffler length. That's my solution for everything

lol ok well for starters .. quite? absolutly not .. under 2000 is semi quite but between 2100 and 3000 is just a rumble .. and a dman loud one .. and then after 3 is starts to have the NASTY borla sound
The tips look AWSOME i think ill post some pics tomorrow.
The muffers cost about 155 a peice. not bad and cheaper on jegs then on borla.com, and from all the research i did .. which was a hell of alot, they were the only twp places i could find the s type and thats what i wanted.
and as for long tubes and the price, CT emissions are a major PIA and i dont even want to deal with it lol, but i would spend the money again in a heart beat for this exhaust.

Did you call to find out?

FLE-Online is now handling Borla Products. Unfortunately due to ordering restrictions we are currently only able to list these three universal mufflers. For price and availability of other mufflers in the Borla ProXS line please call one of our knowledgable sales associates at 1-800-482-7259
