the driver couldnt be more clueless on how to drive a stick. all he had to do was put the clutch in. instead it looks like he jus accelerated harder. **** if he hit the brakes it would have at least stalled and bucked. he would have looked like an idiot but at least he wouldnt have totally ****ed up the car and the house. this is why punk rich boy hs kids dont belong in daddies 50k toys. anyone that clueless with a stick has no business being in the drivers seat. by the looks of the car though its prolly not that bad. that lil garage looked pretty damn flimsy.

Thats why I was put behind the wheel of a straight gear cj7 at 13. On a long gravel driveway mind you with dad shotgun. Did I forget how to drive a stick when I turned 15? Hell yeah I still couldn't drive one. But I sure got the concept of driving one and wouldn't do anything that retarded. Putting a kid behind the wheel of a straight gear car, even if he's just starting it, is completely retarded. You teach him on a empty ass parking lot or something before you consider that...

Oh yeah, don't EVER start your car with your right foot on the clutch, like your starting it real quick. Unless you are 110% sure it is in neutral with the brake engaged. One of my dads old employees done that for an oil change, and he slipped, and the clutch engaged. Ran right into the workbench, and as it rolled back when he tried to get on the clutch, his foot slipped again and slammed right back into the workbench. Very lucky it was an old beatup jeep with a beatup front bumper.

Hell my car has no clutch safety switch and i've never done that. He had to push the clutch in to start it and then just let it out like a dumb ass.

no one of the gargae doors was open. our garage doors are split. each for opens a different bay. 2 bays then we just shoved the 86 into the conner for the winter.

Maybe the intermittant wipers were turned on?
If you look close,it looks like the ground is wet .

Pretty stupid...good thing no one was standing in front of the car.

The kid was only 14. Every body was excited about the new car. You can here the kid ask his dad for the keys to start it up. They just wanted to hear the car.

He just let out the clutch after it got started. May have even hit the gas when he paniced, looked like the car picked up speed as it was entering the garage. (**** happens)

He 15year old brother starts up my dads 73 mach all the time, thank god that has never happened.

That is a life lesson the kid will never forget. He could even grow up to be the best racer since John force someday, and then they will play the video all the time.
