omg MAC FTW

MACs are pretty sweet. I ran'em for a long time actually, i had them on both the Mustangs i had before my coupe and loved them all, i just got bored with them after so many years. Then i realized that the pro chamber was killing so much sound...i switched to an X and ran them for a while longer, then ran'em dumped, then i pretty much exhausted (heh, pun intended) all my options with them so i got rid of'em. I think in the end they sounded best with full lengths, x pipe and tail pipes.

i switched the macs i am love them. sound really nice. the best muffler for a stang IMO.

my friend is even considering getting some now, he likes them alot.

i used to run bullets but the bullets sound like complete ass compared to the macs.

The second video Aliate X posted was my car and I love the sound. Though I did run a 66 coupe last night with race bullets and my god did that car sound nasty when he was moving, not so much at idle though. Anyways I love mac, dont listen to what alot of people say, fitment is a peice of cake by far the easiest catback to install. Good luck Ryan, your doing good.

Edit: The coupe I ran was pretty built so it had something to back up the mufflers, figured I'd add that in.

Remember guys....the muffler is a very small part of the sound of the car, it's the engine making the sound, not the mufflers. The second vid up above had a nasty cam and was obviously a little built, so that's gonna make even stock mufflers sound meaner than normal.

Here's a clip back when i ran MACs....it was all MAC, full lengths, Pro Chamber and Flowpaths dumped. They sound pretty good but did sound WAAAY better with an X and tail pipes.

Haha. Yep, that's Bentley's car. Back in the day with the Powerdyne and shot bottom end. That was a pos digital camera that apparently takes pretty decent videos hahaha. But yeah, Mac is sick.

Yep, that 66 was NASTY. I didn't like the sound anywhere other than wot, but man when he was on it  We're gonna try and get some video for you guys next time out. 2 500rwhp stangs from completely different generations running within inches from each other from 10-120mph is quite the experience :flag:

I get a lot of comments on my Mac system (1- 3/4" longtube headers, off-road H-pipe and 2.5 catback.) Just last week, I attended a car show and while pulling in, some guy came over and said, "That exhaust is music to my ears!" I thought it was cool, because my brother's 331 powered '85 GT was in front of me and a 468 BB powered '70 Yenko Nova was behind me. Mine sounded much nastier than both of them! Also, all the people I cruise to the shows with (9 Mustangs or more) are always commenting on the way mine sounds.
