so i was wanting to know what all is required to put the pi cams and pi intake on non pi heads and is it worth it since im not goin to replace the heads untill i get my new motor built (which might take awhile)

Not sure whats all involved other than the intake and cams(being as how im already PI:D), but yes its worth it. I'm sure others on here that were NPI that are now pi will tell you the same. Best bang for the buck:nice:

I don't know much about the cam install besides that the cam girdles break easily. Make sure you unbolt them evenly. I installed the PI intake on my 96 GT with little mods. I swapped the front cross over tube so that I would not need to drill & tap for the temp sensor. I also used the PI gaskets to mount the intake to the heads. You will need to apply a little red RTV around the water coolant ports. They are shaped a little different & the RTV is just for extra precaution. (Mine sealed fine)I tried the rubber hose under the intake & it didn't work well. The PI intake is deeper & close to the water pump causing you to make a hard 90 degree bend crimping the heater hose. ( USE THE PI COOLANT TUBE!!!) You will also need to change the water pump nipple from the 96 to 99-04 water pump. With this intake you will find the rev limiter a little faster. ( Good upgrade for non PI motor ) Go to americanmuscle.com & there is a step by step article with pictures for this install.
