What is the difference between the newer style performer, and the older ones. is it just the plenum cover or what. I was planning on ordering one, now that i have saved up some money, but a friend has an old style on his 88 and is going to carb in about 3 weeks will this be worth getting.

i would like to know the differences, etc.

There are no power differences. It was mostly a visual change.

well that is good to hear, so maybe i will have this thing in a couple weeks. What kind of gain should i expect. I have my e-cam and 1.7rr, and we smoothed the stock heads out a little when i had them milled and the valve job done, no real hogging out on them though. i will post my sig, and tell me what you think.

only things not in my sig is the CAI. A chrome one for show.

you have a MAF?

20 RW is quite possible and it will really breath topend

I currently have stock heads e cam 1.7s and just added an RPM.... the rpm is in expectance for the next mods that will come this summer. The performer is what you want.

I havent run at the track since the GT40 which is what i ran the tiems in the sig, but on the street against others it has performed quite well
