another piggy back if you all don't mind. Is there a HVLP gun that I can use with a compressor rated at SCFM Delivery At 40 psi 8.6 SCFM? It is a Craftsman 25 gal. Air Compressor oil lubed 2 hp compressor

The rating you want to look for when comparing compressors is the SCFM. The SCFM @ 90 psi is a good point of comparison because that is about the range most air tools are used in. The one you are looking at is rated at 6.8 SCFM at 90 psi. It would not be enough to use with any hvlp gun that I know of but I did paint a car with a standard paint gun several years ago with a compressor in that output range. For not a lot more money you could go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a compressor that puts out over 10 SCFM @ 90 psi. It would have a 60 gal. tank and would not be portable.
