One clunk on acceleration and then clunk when off? Manual Tranny

Mine made that clunk pretty bad, but I could feel it in the floor board. If you can feel it just under your feet check the bolts in the tranny mount. It turns out I had 1 very loose. I tightened it up and the clunk was gone.

sorry for the seriously nood question but where are the tranny mounts located?

Anyone with an aluminum driveshaft have the clunk? It could be that the yokes don't have very tight tolerances and cause the clunk.

I had it bad after 400miles in my mach and it turned out to be the backlash in the rear.....

I had an aluminum D/S and it clunked now I have a carbon fiber D/S and it clunks as well I don't think the clunk is the D/S itself unless it's the linkage ie u joints, yolk? Someone has to know definitively!!
