And yes, I searched, but the 8 pages of info made my head hurt.

Explorer intake on a 94 GT, do I need the non-egr or the intake with the egr holes. Or will either one work? I'll be keeping the stock TB.

either will work with our stock t-body and the elbow to make the stock t-body work.

You will only want the internal EGR passages if you plan to keep the EGR and swap to a fox t-body setup.

If it has the internal ports and you use the elbow this will block these internal passages making it function as an external intake.

That's what I was thinking, either intake will work if I use the stock Tb with the elbow adapter. I just read all 8 pages of threads earlier and I probably confused myself and felt like this o.O.

Thanks!

I would say look for an internal that way if you ever down the road want to convert to the fox t-body and want to keep the EGR you can.

People often want to delete the EGR but really there is not a big reason to do this. The EGR is off at WOT, helps with MPG, and unless the system is totally busted its just not worth it IMHO as you will want to tune the EGR off as it will generally cause a mid load knock. There is a slight bit of added heat you could argue that heats the intake/heat soak but really with an alum intake its going to heat soak anyway.

I'm just going to keep the sn95 tb. The car is just a daily driver with a leaking lower intake gasket. Since the intake will be off anyway and I'm finding good deals for Explorer intakes on ebay, I figured why not.
