I need a little help before i hack away at my bell housing. The rod from the equalizer bar to the clutch fork is being interfered with from the lip of the Lakewood aftermarket bell-housing and was wondering if all you do is notch out the bell-housing to allow clearance? Lakewood couldn't help me. The car is 67 mustang w/289 and toploader. I've been restoring it since 1987 and it sounds so good only to have such a small thing keeping me from moving it.
