Man...I wish Stern would dust off the casting molds for these fine looking wheels and do a limited run (maybe a 1,000 sets). They could charge $1,500 per set and clean-up on profit.

i am wondering if they will go for as much as the 3 piece Sterns? what do you guys think? the 1 piece Sterns are really nice looking wheels. right next to the 3 piece Sterns LOL.

I think they should make both the one piece and the three piece!

BIGGGGG money to make wheels that are not cheap crap.I looked in to in several years ago. You need two molds and they are about $25-45,000 ea. Then the wheel manufactures want you to run a minimum of 500 wheels from each mold.
You guys can do the math. Then the other problem is were to keep 1000 wheels????

Plus the old molds are gone or the casting process is different and the old Machine that cast the wheels is gone. I called Speedline and looked for Stern several years ago hoping to buy the molds.The only way is to make new wheels.

Couldn't they be Cnc'ed now? Or would that make each set too expensive on an as per deal?
