Hi guys, im just getting into the mustang world, and i have a few questions hoping maybe you can help me with.
I picked up a 66 coupe hard top with manual brakes from an old fellow in my neighbourhood, and perhaps none too soon. The guy has had this vehicle for a number of years, and finally gave up on it due to health (both physical and...mental), when he accidentally used..... WD40 as brake fluid  :notnice:
Anyway, spoke to a few guys and apparently wd40 and some of the urethane components in the drums/master cyl dont really mix well. Go figure! Plus given poor maintenance performed over the years on this car, im thinking of completely overhauling the drums and master cyl. Seems that that the master cyl is completely seized up, im trying to bleed the system, but all thou i am able to pump the brakes, im not getting any flow from the Master Cyl.
Alot of these things i cannot find at my local parts supplier here in town, so i turn to the internet. Can you please give me some reccomandations as to some more reputable online parts suppliers or manufacturers where i could shop for some of this stuff?
thanks
