This thread is in no way designed to start a war. LRS is a good company and I've had good experiences with them before. I just wanted to share my troubles.
So I just bought a grand worth of stuff from 5.0 Resto. Well, really I bought it last Thursday evening. Friday morning I get the confirmation email letting me know that they have humans on the job, and that my order is in the system. Problem is, its on hold for some reason. Turns out, because I JUST moved, there was a discrepancy with my billing address. So after being on the phone with LRS and my bank for about an hour Friday, I discover that in an attempt to push the order through, my bank account was charged THREE times for the same amount. So now it looks like I'm out 3k when I look at my online banking. Long story short, we get some papers faxed around the country, and I'm not at a loss for 2 grand.
So then the parts finally go out Monday. Well, SOME of the parts go out Monday. Hooray for back orders. So today (Thursday) I finally get my stuff that isn't back ordered. Well the excitement never ends, and one of the packages gets left by UPS on the front step completely mangled, smashed, and partly open. UPS didn't even bother to stop and say something. I wasn't home, but others were here. Luckily enough, nothing is missing and the only damage seems to be some gnarly scratches in the nice black finish on my new brake proportioning valve. I tried to call LRS, but it seems they shut the phones off at least a couple minutes before they close. Or my watch is slow, I don't know.
Cliff notes:
1. Order parts, but order gets put on hold because they think I'm not the real NikwoaC.
2. Try to push order through and accidentally charge triple original amount to my bank account.
3. Order gets stalled 3 days.
4. Some parts still on backorder.
5. Package comes completely destroyed, proportioning valve comes all scratched up.
6. Saga continues...
